Job Summary
Business Unit Cheese and Powder Systems develops, engineers and commissions cheese and powder production equipment for the food industry. With over 600 employees in 8 countries we develop, deliver and facilitate a competitive portfolio of process solutions in close cooperation with the Tetra Pak Market Companies.
The Operations Dryer Team in the Netherlands engineers and commissions Dryer equipment with a team of Process, Mechanical and Automation Engineers.
In order to further strengthen our activities, we are looking for a Process Engineer who will responsible for executing the design, calculation, realization and commissioning (both domestic and abroad) within the various processing lines for evaporator and dryer equipment in projects.
The position is based in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil.
You will be travelling up to 40 % of your time to our customer sites.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do
- Design, specification and cost calculation for quotations and projects.
- Working out the process in a P&ID and managing the process design of the installation in close collaboration with the other members of the project team.
- Writing specifications for components and assessing the progress and quality of the components at the suppliers.
- Advising and supporting the commercial team with regards to making quotations.
- Giving Market Company or customer presentations on the process design.
- Commissioning the installation in cooperation with the Automation Engineer.
- Troubleshooting while in the field / during production.
We believe you have
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in industry;
- Solid experience in the food/process industry will be an advantage.
- Good Knowledge evaporator and dryer equipment
- A very good command of English, both written and spoken is required and Portuguese native.
- To be successful in this position you need to have strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- You are a self-motivated person with a strong drive for result.
- You can work independently as well as in a team.
