  • 5+ years of experience in the trade show industry or cooperative events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, hospitality and tourism, administration, finance, business, or equivalent experience required.
  • Certificated Event Management or equivalent preferred.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working independently

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Understanding of corporate regulations.

  • Experience using MS Office.
  • Good presentation skills — ability to effectively present status and issues to Project Owner and Business Unit Portfolio Leaders.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills required.
  • Experience coordinating team workflow in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts.
  • A results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

This is a great opportunity to utilize your project management, marketing, logistical and problem-solving skills while applying your creativity to your portfolio of events. In this multi-faceted fast-paced role, you will collaborate with your show teams to design and implement cutting-edge technologies, programs, and services to meet the needs of each trade show.

The days will fly by as you work with colleagues and vendors through each show cycle. You will partner with show teams, client services, contractors, and associations to develop registration processes with customer focus at the forefront while implementing best practices to capture the data that will provide insights and content to our valued customers.

Entrepreneurial spirits are welcome here! You will have full responsibility for developing and evolving this essential part of each show. Travel up to 9 times a year to manage the registration at venues in top locations throughout the country. You will see all your hard work come to fruition and witness how it is all directly related to the success of the show!

BRING YOUR PASSION AND EXPERTISE:

  • The Project Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for you to manage registration for approximately 4 or 5 assigned events.
  • Customer focus is always at the forefront while implementing best practices to capture the data that will provide insights and contact to our valued customers.
  • Innovative thinking regarding how to make it easier and faster for servicing our customers in the registration process both on the web and on-site, while improving their overall experience.
  • You will oversee your direct report's show budgets while creating registration processes and protocols with scalability in mind for efficiencies and cost reduction across B2B and/or B2C registration budgets. Provide training and supervision for overall registration responsibilities, and registration page builds ensuring we meet go-live deadlines. This requires continuous support and guidance as needed.
  • Embrace a digital focus, looking for innovative ways to capture, analyze, and display data while remaining focused on user experience.
  • Collaboration with the Director, Managers, Business units, senior leadership, marketing, operations, sales, data & and analytics, legal, client services, finance, and other leadership within the company. This is ongoing and demanding to keep up with simultaneous timelines, privacy and communication laws, and miscellaneous requests throughout the year. Partner with all levels of staff in each department throughout the organization.
  • Fostering a trusting work environment and cultivating cohesive team communication to deliver successful implementation of new global and internal company initiatives.
  • Develop the on-site registration layout to include counters, furniture, kiosks, electricity, WIFI, signage, etc.
  • Responsible for the onsite temporary staffing and independent contractor agreements to provide preshow/onsite support to the registration team. Utilize negotiation skills when finding temporary agencies for shows in remote locations.
  • You will utilize a diverse set of skills such as project management, logistical, organizational, financial, and complex problem-solving skills while applying your creativity in many areas of the job. It's a multi-faceted and fast-paced position with many opportunities to collaborate with employees in Mexico, Brazil, and abroad.
  • Process purchase orders and payments for temporary staff, vendor, and contractor invoices.
  • Travel to your assigned events and some travel is required to train the vendor, temps, and supervise other areas of registration such as access control at main entrances, coordinate access control needs for conferences and special events, and resolve situations for exhibitor badge delivery, assemblers, and other categories of visitors; receive training of the safety protocols for events.
