Job description:
Project manager, working closely with internal engineeringand commissioning teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure projects aredelivered within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for completing assigned projects.
- Apply Management Operating System.
- Lead project teams and coordinate all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, resource management and risk assessment.
- Manage project specific operations teams in the effective adoption, implementation, and compliance with HBS Global and local policies, processes, procedures, tools and business best practices.
- Drawing up project plans, including defining objectives, milestones and deliverables.
- Drive on time delivery of projects, within scope and project cost.
- Ensure timely invoicing towards our customer and from our subcontracting.
- Implement all applicable aspects of the HBS Project Management Methodology during the execution of projects, using the Honeywell dedicated tool - Cora PPM.
- Monitor financial performance monthly.
- Identify and manage project risks, implement appropriate risk control measures.
- Managing contracts, negotiating changes and additional requirements.
- Lead the development and follow-up of the project plan.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
You have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project management role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as electrical/mechanical engineering, security engineering or fire safety.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer Relationship Management talent.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers, commissioners, and subcontractors.
- Stress resistant/flexible
- Financial Skills - The ability to understand financial data and metrics.
- Fluent oral and written communication in Dutch, French and English.
- Experience working according to project management methodologies, such as Prince2, PMI or PMBOK.
- Business understanding of HVAC and/or fire protection and security industry projects. Knowledge of fire protection systems, access control systems, CCTV systems and other security technologies is a plus.
