In this position you will be responsible for Hardware and site planning related to system solutions for low and medium voltage projects in the area of Process Industries in Mannheim, Germany.You will lead the engineering and site activities as well as technical implementation in various phases of customer projects to ensure that all activities are executed in accordance with expectations, specifications, standards and safety requirements, while identifying opportunities for improvement.

Your responsibilities
- Technical responsibility for the Hardware Planning and execution of system solutions in drive and automation projects
- Assist in continuous improvement of project workflow, participate in project meetings
- Create work plans and cost estimates for work, conduct risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning, report on potential risks and solutions relevant to your engineering discipline
- Support sales and project management with your technical expertise in detailed planning discussions with customers, partners and service providers
- Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through dialogue and excellent service at all project phases
- Collaborate and network with colleagues, disseminating proven solutions
- Apply and improve standards and strategies to ensure effective project delivery
- Ensure compliance of laws and standards
Your background
- Several years of experience in Hardware Planning in electrical engineering projects, especially in the design of plants and machinery
- Sound knowledge in hardware engineering, processes and software tools, e.g. EPLAN
- Preparation of circuit diagrams and control cabinet layouts
- Experience with projects in the field of Metals, Pulp and Paper, Test Bench or Mining industries is desirable
- A strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and German
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent/higher
