We are now looking for aSales Support Engineers to support our Performance Services, Agreements Sales team, and be part of an international working environment where you will gain and develop in-depth know-how of the lifecycle solutions for marine installations. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Sales Engineering in Wärtsilä, and location of the position is in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil.
What you will be doing?
In this role you be responsible for supporting order intake, our objective is to enhance customers’ value by optimising their operations and safeguarding the condition of their assets in a proactive and predictive manner throughout the lifecycle. With customer centricity at the core of our operation, we fulfil our customers' needs through our offering of lifecycle solutions through long-term agreements.
Main responsibilities:
- Working in close relation with colleagues within Agreements Sales.
- Preparing proposal packages based on service offer request for global sales opportunities.
- Identifying the different lifecycle solutions products and equipment sold.
- Performance Services cost offering tool for proposals to our global sales units.
- Creation of appendices (manuals, responsibility matrices, parts and working hours) for different sales exercises.
- Coordinating proposal and inputs with various internal stakeholders and Agreements Sales, Sales Engineering in major agreement offerings.
- Acting as a liaison between Agreement Sales, Business Lines and other internal functions.
- Participating in customer negotiations if required.
- Maintaining Salesforce CRM and other system information that's relevant to the support function.
- Conducting agreement training in Sales Areas (agreement calculations, responsibility matrices, etc.).
- Essential participation within capture teams.
- Monthly reporting of plans and activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields such as: Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Experience of similar tasks and shared services operations
- Experience in tasks related to complex sales activities & marine vessel systems (will be a plus)
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Intermediate Spanish (will be a plus)
- Attention to details and awareness of how they fit into the bigger business picture
- Understanding and willingness to learn about existing and possible after sales business
- Knowledge about Operations and Maintenance towards Wärtsilä’s product portfolio
- Basic know-how related to sales analytics
