The team you will be a part of

The Organization/Talent Development team conducts or facilitates general and specific training programs for organization employees. Monitors employee development and training programs, assesses needs and results, develops new programs and modifies existing programs. Consults on employee development, performance, management utilization, personal career development, job enrichment and succession planning areas.

This role in summary

The Sr Analyst, Organization/Talent Development is responsible for the strategy, design, execution and management of the highly visible Trainee program regionally (inclusive of Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia), a program designed to develop Whirlpool's future leaders in the region through rotational experiences, focused development, and leadership support structures. This position will play a critical role in tying the talent strategy of the region into the design and management of the Trainee program, bringing together multiple stakeholder groups to deliver on the goal to fill our future leader pipeline. 

This position is located in São Paulo, Whirlpool's administrative headquarters in Brazil.
 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Partner with regional leadership teams to develop and execute the strategic direction and continuous improvement for the early career Trainee Program
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition function to design the Trainee recruitment process, including candidate profile, selection criteria, hiring targets.
  • Design, deliver and monitor orientation activities
  • Strategy, planning and coordination of the program's key milestones for project and rotation placement, including, Onboarding, Learning and development strategies, Mentoring, Project Presentation, Project Definition and Allocation.
  • Work closely with the regional Leadership and HR to drive rigorous talent management of the Leadership Development Program (LDP) population
  • Provide coaching and counseling with Trainees in order to develop and accelerate leadership; partner with People Leaders of Trainees on development plans
  • Ownership of the Trainee Development Journey, including the strategy, design, and coordination, together with partner vendors, of the training framework for Trainees based on the company's needs.
  • Planning, analysis, review and reporting of indicators related to the program
  • Focal point for HR matters for Trainee's Sr Managers and directors.
  • Focal point for regional hr and business leadership in anything related to the Program and the participants
  • Collaboratively work with the Talent Community of Expertise (CoE) and other leadership development programs to ensure consistency and quality of programs.
  • Collaborate with the global Program Manager team to drive and deploy projects affiliated with the overall LDP/early career strategy
     

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years Experience in Recruitment, Human Resources or Program, Project Management
  • Advanced English
     

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management
  • Experience in talent development and leadership development practices and program implementation
  • Enthusiasm and experience in working with Early Career Talent (for example: Trainee, Internship program); desire to shape future leaders
  • Assessment, recruitment, and interviewing experience
  • Coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively influence others (program participants, peers, and senior leaders)
  • Execution skills (organization,coordination, project management and project planning tools, continuous improvement)
  • Collaborative team player
