Role Summary/Purpose

This role is a member of the global team of GE Vernova Professional Services Category Management professionals supporting various functions. The role provides support in building a team of best-in-class talent and fostering an environment of strong collaboration and engagement. This role will establish relationships by building trust with internal and external stakeholders and developing and executing strategies to meet business outcomes. This role is responsible for Supplier Management and Performance Monitoring related to various Professional Services categories to include Consulting Services, Donations & Contributions, Financial Services, HR Services to include Total Rewards and Operations, Legal Services, Projects, and Marketing, Advertising, & Communications. This person should establish and lead strategic sourcing activities in these categories to include category strategy and MSA ownership. This role will require coordination with the Business Unit Category Management teams to ensure a cohesive global strategy, coordinating sourcing efforts and policy, and executing initiatives. Partnerships with GE functional stakeholders in Business and Segment Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive total cost efficiency (TCE) are critical to enable the team to deliver excellent service levels to the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

·       Oversee execution of strategies through the sourcing process for Professional Services category spend areas to include Consulting Services, Donations & Contributions, Financial Services, HR Services, Legal Services, and Marketing, Advertising, & Communications

·       Champion and secure TCE reductions within each spend category

·       Oversee end-to-end Sourcing process: strategy, market analysis, negotiation process (RFXs), supplier selection and contract creation, and buy channel management

·       Lead and manage multi-functional stakeholder teams on specific strategic sourcing initiatives or projects

·       Drive best practices

·       Measure and track internal performance within each spend category

·       Monitor strategy implementation to ensure benefit realization

·       Drive annual productivity improvements in each spend category

·       Drive value through supplier relationship management

Qualifications/Requirements

·       Significant experience in Sourcing, Operations, or equivalent consulting experience related to Finance or other Professional Services

·       Demonstrated ability in leading organizational, process, and culture change

·       For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

·       For roles in USA, this role requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with significant experience in job family group/function), or equivalent experience/ knowledge

Desired Characteristics

·       M BA or Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience/ knowledge

·       Inspirational people leader, collaborative mindset in working across functional areas

·       Strong experience in Procurement processes and system integration projects

·       Strong analytical/problem solving skills

·       Sourcing or Analytics experience in a multinational company

·       Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies, analytics, and financial analysis

·       Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

·       Strong project management skills

·       Thought leader, experience with external benchmarking to drive next level process improvements

·       Strong track record for implementing change and delivering results
