CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. Our clients include both tech startups and big players in various industries and geographic locations (US, Japan, Israel, Europe).

The project and the team
We are looking for a creative back-end engineer to join our team, build a user-facing application in the networking area, and drive its overall market adoption. The team consists of the Engineering Manager, UX designers, back-end, front-end, network and QA engineers.
Other things to know:
- We are a self-sufficient team
- Our contact person is a Product Owner on the client side
- Our team works in Poland
- Client representatives are located on the East and West coasts of the United States
- We use SCRUM methodology (4-week increments)
We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.
Example project:
- Together, with our client we are working on an Application and Network Monitoring solution. As a team member, you will play a key role in developing a solution focused on collecting, aggregating/enriching and presenting monitored application data. Your main responsibilities will include commercial product development, working closely with a team of skilled Software Engineers, network engineers and UX designers who collaborate closely with our client from the East Coast of the United States.
Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Working in scrum framework and collaborating with the rest of the team (product managers, UX designers, front-end developers, QA engineers)
- Propose new solutions and drive improvements
- Implementing new features and extending/improving existing ones
- Implementing unit tests
Do we have a match?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and Multi-Threading
- Experience in CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of Restful API (FastAPI)
- English (B2+ Level) for everyday conversations and knowledge sharing
Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate:
- Knowledge of the latest in Python, including 3.9+ specifics
- Knowledge of best coding practices (like Clean Code)
- Knowledge of AWS
- Experience with Django
- Experience with DataBases: PostgreSQL (no ORM)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Ability to collaborate in distributed teams
