The Strategic Account Leadership (SAL) drives new opportunities and responds with site centric solutions, aimed at strategic sites to drive delivery of the priority studies.
The SAL contribute to GCO Global and country-specific goals to optimize Country clinical trial delivery for strategic programs.
It will leverage site insight and own building connections and engagement between key stakeholders from internal Client, CRO and external partners to drive accelerated site identification, site start-up and participant enrolment. The services will design and deliver clear and measurable site engagement strategies across their country of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Align and coordinate the execution of priority studies and program strategy in partnership
- with other site facing functions such as the Therapeutic areas (TA), CRO partners, Country
- Operations (CO), and Medical Affairs (MAF).
- Provide Strategic site insights and feedback to extended internal teams to share
- perceptions and perspectives on Sponsor R&D clinical trial delivery.
- Deliver insights to overlay the Janssen clinical operations approach to improve site
- experience and accelerate site start-up.
- Match study needs to identified site capabilities.
- Partner with country teams to understand and analyze local market and site dynamics to remove site barriers to site opening and patient enrollment.
- Coordinate internal-to-external stakeholder meetings to engage/pull-through current
- and potential research sites.
- Develop strategic site engagement strategy and action plans in alignment with key
- internal/external stakeholders, including the global therapeutic area teams, and integrate
- country/regional and global needs to deliver the outsourced studies in the program.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is required, a master's degree is preferred.
- Min 5 years of relevant Clinical Operations required; Other 8+ years of Medical Affairs or TA specific customer experience is considered.
- Experience working with external entities or third parties including relationship management, and oversight of deliverables.
- Experience in site engagement and relationship building in clinical operations.
- Knowledge about clinical development and clinical operations is required.
- Ability to drive innovation and solve problems in an ambiguous environment.
