We have proudly opened the ORTEC LatAm office in Rio de Janeiro in 2012 with primary focus to increase business in the Latin American regions. Your role

  • You are part of a Global Customer Support team, inside the SaaS Operations Unit. This is an expertise unit helping ORTEC offices and customers around the world on a 24/7 format.
  • You are responsible for an excellent Customer Experience, by ensuring a good intake of a customer request until providing a high-quality customer oriented solution.
  • You are analyzing and investigating the request using own analytical skills and good knowledge over the solution implemented for customers, troubleshooting application and environment issues in multiple industries like: transport & logistics, retail, oil & gas, energy, parcel delivery, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, banking, and many others.
  • You understand the customer request/language, asses the urgency and impact;
  • You are the main contributor to our customers’ satisfaction with our products after the implementation stage.
  • You are responsible for incident and problem resolutions by following the internal guidelines and always considering the SLA timings.

There can be different complexity in the investigations you will perform, things related to : (but not limited to)

  • Infrastructure and Application User access;
  • ORTEC Monitoring tool: set up, interpret alerts and solution;
  • Database issues: Back-Up’s & Restore; Queries;
  • Integration issues between ORTEC and different 3 rd parties;
  • Disk Space & Resource Issues;
  • Infrastructure issues;
  • Application Configuration: use of XSL Language and Visual Programming;
  • Application Performance: Interfaces. Own ORTEC Products specific functionalities;
  • Business issues;
  • MSSQL Query: Debug and Optimization.

You will be in charge of ensuring the quality and on-time delivery of resolutions, balancing between understanding our customer’s business requirements and troubleshooting the technical solution (with SQL, XML/ XSL, Reporting, Scripting, and others).

Your skills and experience:

  • University degree in relevant field (preferably IT related);
  • Proficient in English: written and verbal. Other foreign language is an added advantage;
  • Knowledge of MSSQL programming and databases. XSL knowledge is a plus;
  • Knowledge of networking and MS Windows Platform. Scripting (PowerShell and Batch experience is a plus;
  • Proficiency in working with Server-Client applications;
  • Previous experience with clients is an asset;
  • Intrigued by detective work in troubleshooting;
  • Strong problem-solving judgement;
  • Possibility to travel (mostly abroad), if and when required.
