JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Transportation Analyst PL will help evaluate distribution and transportation operations, in freight payables, transportation accounting and data maintenance.
In this role, you will help conduct data management, reporting and analysis, business partnership, and conduct process improvement initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Evaluate, select and foster continuous relationships with external transport providers.
• Use limited knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations to establish good customer relations.
• Analyze and project transportation costs and coordinate customs clearances and permits.
• Perform data entry updates in spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders and contracts and provide data to more senior team members for further analysis.
• Resolve Payment Issues with Carriers.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Logistics and similar areas
• Experience in Invoice Payment process
• Advantage proficiency in English
• Knowledge in ERP/ SAP, JDE will be consider a differential
• Experience in process improvement will be consider a differential
• Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
