We are currently recruiting aQuality Assurance Analystto join the Worldpay UK Engineering Payment Solutions Enablement (PSE) team at Worldpay from FIS. This position is London-based and aligned to the FIS University Program; a two-year scheme, suited to entry level joiners who aspire to develop a successful career with a leading fintech company!

As a full-time FIS University Program participant, you will receive on-the-job training and also have an opportunity to participate in team projects, professional development webinars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success - including performance connects with your manager and you will be eligible for bi-annual merit reviews based on your start date and your performance.

The UK program has a start date in September 2024 with a dedicated “Learning Week” where you will:

•    Learn the unique nature of our industry, products, and the markets in which we work
•    Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organisation
•    Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
•    Build a network of peers from across the organisation


Following the FIS University Program Learning week, you will continue your learning journey with your business unit and receive further functional training as you settle into your role.


About the team 

The Worldpay UK (WPUK) Engineering team is a vital group for delivering all of the cutting-edge payment technologies that we use in our market leading systems. We work across Merchant Sales and Onboarding, eCom (ecommerce) and POS (Point of Sale) transaction acquiring, and Merchant Dashboard Reporting. Our clients range from small/medium businesses and start-ups to some of the largest high street, tech and digital firms!

The PSE team within Engineering performs the crucial task of validating all of the eCom and POS solutions which interface into our acquiring platform, ensuring they meet all card scheme, local regulatory and Worldpay requirements for the payment functionalities our merchants wish to support. This involves using numerous different tools and technologies to ensure that our customers deliver transactions accurately, thus realising the best revenue outcomes for themselves and Worldpay.


What you will be doing 

The PSE team is an external client facing function within Engineering. You will collaborate with our customers and their solution providers; relationship managers from the Worldpay business; and the wider Engineering team including product owners for our eCom gateway and POS solutions, and the acquiring platform itself, and the developers of those products and platforms. You will develop a deep understanding of the role of an acquirer in the payments ecosystem and the needs of our customers.

Working within a dedicated accreditation team, your day-to day responsibilities include:
•    Providing technical point of sale advice to Worldpay’s customers and business teams, ensuring systems provide best usability, performance & security, and comply with regulatory requirements
•    Producing the technical documentation detailing implementation and configuration requirements, and the relevant accreditation test scripts
•    Analysing test results, identifying any observations and raising them to the customer for action
•    Signing-off solutions which have successfully completed accreditation testing, for connection to Worldpay
•    Overseeing live set up on Worldpay systems for the merchant solution and undertaking initial post live monitoring to ensure there are no authorization or settlement issues
•    Personal & professional development 


Who we are looking for 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or Software Engineering)
•    Willingness and ability to learn and master point of sale standards such as EMV, ISO8583, UK Finance Standard 70
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels both inside and outside the organization
•    Attention to detail
•    Positive outlook and reactive to internal and external clients and contacts
•    Ability to work in a team while independently managing your own tasks
