Duties :
- Refactor and upgrade existing Python codebase to AWS SAM applications.
- Develop backend features of our primary web application leveraging AWS SAM.
- Extend and maintain the RESTful HTTP API, ensuring compatibility with legacy and new systems.
- Implement and manage service deployments and rollbacks using AWS SAM.
- Design and estimate new features based on customer needs, focusing on AWS services.
- Investigate and rectify defects in the application code.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for service issues.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in web application development with a focus on cloud-based applications.
- Demonstrated experience in refactoring Python code into AWS SAM applications.
- Strong knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with relational database design and query operations.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, and their implications on the design of scalable web services.
- Strong proficiency with AWS, especially in AWS SAM and cloud resource management.
- Understanding of SCRUM and Agile development practices.
- Familiarity with Docker and traditional server operations.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science. Relevant experience
