The related activities for this position are to pursue opportunities for long-term growth and revenue from customers, markets, and relationships. This person must understand the fundamental drivers of the business, suppliers, customers, partners, and competitors.  Must have a good relationship with dealership personnel and apply the Challenger approach when looking for opportunities or to solve an issue. 

The individual for this position must have capabilities to connect the dots and to influence people to deliver results. Execution capacity is a must, this professional will report to the RCM/Team Lead, with a very good articulation among the commercial, marketing and network development areas.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

General objectives

  • Enhance Can-Am, Sea Doo and other business opportunities by supporting the company to find solutions, define strategies and execute implementation of projects for a sustainable growth in the country.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business and goods to create, comply with local regulations and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long plan for additional sales for each targeted POS in accordance with the proposed projects for the supported areas.
  • Persistently search for “playgrounds” and facilities development opportunities to support customer loyalty tools implementation.
  • Develop strategies and governance for new venture implementation and results.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of Marketing and Net Dev strategies/definitions connected to the proposed projects.
  • Motivate the team, track performance, report results and make presentations to stakeholders.
  • Organize and support dealers on events related to Growth Plays including the agri-shows.

Immediate related activities

  • Good communication with Public Affairs and Government Relations internally, externally and with contracted third parties.
  • Connection with important stakeholders that will enable us to deliver the projects as internal personnel, dealers, suppliers, partners, business investors, authorities, etc.
  • Keep developing partners to facilitate the trail system creation and ensure the right level of engagement of the related dealers on ORV tourism activities in the areas of interest.
  • Support the Trail Systems activities and the dealer’s engagement in agricultural markets.
  • Support the implementation of Sea Doo Outfitters for tourism business.
  • Support the Business Development to related events, show and fairs.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

Skills and Qualifications

  • Execution capability is a must.
  • Flexibility to travel from 1 to 2 weeks per month.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 7 years of working experience with sales techniques, product development or marketing
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with, project management, events execution, product demonstration and training
  • Ability to deliver presentations.
