Electrical Designer

Purpose of the position

Responsible for the electrical system design of the ship's ro-ro equipment, deck machinery and other equipment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Make network topology diagrams,
• Make single line diagrams,
• Make schematic diagrams,
• Electrical components selection,
• Make panel layout drawings,
• Make connection diagrams,
• PLC programming,
• HMI programming,
• Responsible for classification drawing and document review.
• Take part in FAT(factory acceptance test).

What you’ll need to succeed

1. Education 
   • Bachelor degree, majoring in electrical engineering, automation.
      
2. Experience: 
   • 5-10 years work experience in electrical automation systems.
      
3. Competencies 
   •  Familiar with component selection, schematic design, and testing specifications in electrical systems.
   • Familiar with electrical system design process and PLC programming.
   • Have good communication skills, teamwork awareness, and English communication skills (written and spoken).
      
4. Software requirements:
   • Proficient in at least one electrical drawing software, such as Eplan. Familiar with the software of E3 electric is preferred.
   • Familiar with Siemens TIA PORTAL is preferred.
   • AUTOCAD.
   • Familiar with Python is preferred.
