Job Purpose and Impact
TheResearch and Development Specialist (Pigs) is responsible for executing the solution development pipeline for clients with extensive interaction with the technical, marketing and commercial team. In this role, you will implement development projects using innovation concepts, both to renew the current portfolio and for new solutions. It will be an important link with the Global team and Cargill Animal Nutrition businesses in other countries. You will benefit from training in project management and innovation, in addition to having a global network of experts.
Key Accountabilities
- Development of market-relevant solutions adapted to the company's growth strategy.
- Carry out research and product development projects, ensuring that projects are properly executed.
- Build strong relationships with customers, identify their needs and opportunities to help them thrive in your business.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with animal welfare and food safety.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to the right team.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree ina field related to animal nutrition or animal science,
- Related work experience
- Portuguese Advanced/Fluent
- English Advanced

Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a field related to animal nutrition or animal science,
- Research skills
- Customer facing technical service experience
- Practical experience in positional animal nutrition and health solutions
- Practical experience in basic animal nutrition, physiology and health expertise
- Project management experience
