FUNCTION: Finance LOCATION: São Paulo, Brasil JOB TYPE : Permanent ROLE SENIORITY: Managerial GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA: Responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with Accounting Standards across Latin America Drive efficiency of accounting processes YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other financial reports. Act as first point of contact for the Accounting Service provider for the respective legal entities and branches. Provide guidance for correctness of postings ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines. Validate monthly closing. Periodically perform balance sheet and P&L review and GL account reconciliation. Identify trends, variances and areas requiring attention. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as necessary. Drive timely completion of statutory financial statements for legal entities and branches. Coordinate with outsourced partner in each country and internal functions including Corporate Controller, FP&A and Tax. Review bridges Group to local GAAP and statutory financial statements before validation by Managing Directors Audit: coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and support to the auditors. Support Group global audit by providing timely analysis Provide input to legal entity planning and forecasting. Coordinate across CFO functions including Corporate Controller, Tax, Treasury and FP&A on key LE activities and procedures. Provide guidance on Accounting related topics to internal stakeholders Process improvement: continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency, reliability and internal controls ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE? Main requirements: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) or Master degree in Accounting and Finance Proven experience (at least 10 years) in Audit or Accounting, including managerial roles and working alongside with outsourced partners Fluent in English Proven knowledge of IFRS and internal controls Hands-on with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to details. Able to think creatively to solve problems in accordance with IFRS/Company policies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience in motivating and influencing others in an international, matrixed organization. Adaptability and capable of working in a fast-moving, ever changing environment. Driven to simplify/standardize and automate finance & accounting processes Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 accounting software is a plus.
