Global Security Senior Manager, EMEA

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be a key member of a small, agile, and diverse global team responsible for protecting our employees, assets, business operations and reputation worldwide. Key aspects of the role will be the development and delivery of Global Security initiatives and programs including but not limited to, incident response training, risk assessment reviews, event security, and technology solutions. You will be a member of the incident response team supporting our regions and offices in the event of an incident. Additionally, you will develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for identifying and protecting our information and personnel.
You will have a well-developed understanding of the Global Security landscape, mitigation options available at the corporate level, and incident response best practice. You will need to be independent and self-directed and be comfortable and effective working on a virtual team within a matrix reporting relationship.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Supporting security strategy development and execution, in line with business priorities

• Supporting the formulation of strategic plans in partnership with broader leadership team; translating priorities into action
• Developing and implementing policies related to physical security
• Preparing business cases to support leadership discussions; formulating recommendations and business cases
• Liaising with key stakeholders across cohorts to increase awareness of and support for the security agenda
• Ensuring effective collaboration and driving cross-functional teams

Leading and coordinating incident response and business resiliency

• Leading and delivering elements of a global program within EMEA, including developing incident response business resiliency plans, and training and testing incident response teams
• Developing incident response business resiliency plans
• Participating on incident response teams as necessary
• Coordinating communications as appropriate, using tools such as Everbridge
• Partnering with team members to deliver a safe travel program
• Collecting post-event learning and continuously improving our plans
• Maintaining awareness of technical tools in the market in this area

Supporting physical safety and security of our assets and people

• Researching and deploying technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to safeguard BCG's assets
• Coordinating with team members and the Global Real Estate team on the design and implementation of physical security installations at company offices and facilities
• Conducting risk assessments in support of office openings
• Collaborating with others in the Risk function to establish operating protocols at local, regional and global levels
• Managing the analysis and dissemination of global risk, threat, and intelligence information to internal customers
• Assessing global events that may impact BCG people, facilities, business operations, and reputation

Securing large events

• Support the Global Security team’s lead for meetings & events security to risk assess, prepare for and secure BCG’s large in-person events within the EMEA region

Effective communication and training

• Developing and maintaining network and relationships with relevant high-level law enforcement and international counterparts to include in-country security and international security agencies, intelligence and private sector counterparts worldwide
• Promoting and engaging in cross-functional interfaces, support, and program development between security and functions such as travel, meetings, IT, HR, office operations etc.
• Developing and delivering training relevant to BCG's security program

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Excitement for a role that continues to evolve, grow and change over time
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
• 10+ or more years relevant experience, which includes experience in the international security arena with a global corporation, preferably a professional services firm or within the security risk management sector
• You have experience of working in diverse cultural environments and a track record in working across cultural boundaries, within a matrix structured organization
• Excellent command of the English language and working knowledge of another
• Skilled in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and web-based applications
• Travel up to 20%

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
