IT Service Desk Manager - Sao Paulo (100% on site) - full time and permanent contract

Job Description

Reporting to our VP of IT, you will create impact within our global IT team. You will help ensure the smooth operation of our internal IT services, providing internal support to our global Jellyfish community.

You will be at the forefront of our commitment to technological excellence, ensuring that our systems and processes are aligned with industry best practices.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • To provide IT support to all users onsite and globally via our Service Management Tool
  • Deliver a high level of customer service when assisting staff in resolving IT issues
  • Assess and purchase new and replacement hardware
  • Test, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate
  • Provide application support for programs such as Microsoft Office, Sage Accounts, GSuite, Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Manage new starter and leaver process / administration
  • Produce and maintain departmental procedures, checklists for tasks and FAQ sheets
  • Complete daily checks, such as system backups, network devices and meeting room kit ensuring records of checks are maintained
  • Propose new ideas on how to improve departmental processes
  • Ensure skill base is kept up to date, including passing any applicable technical exams
  • Manage ad-hoc project work,
  • Maintain meeting room hardware and provide on-site support for meetings
  • Manage the onsite network infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of helpdesk experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows 10 -11 desktop operating systems
  • Experience using MacOS desktop operating systems
  • Can demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency inEnglish
  • Process Improvement - You seek and implement solutions to streamline and automate processes.
  • Emotional Intelligence - You demonstrate empathy and adapt your approach to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Adaptability - You're good at adapting strategies and plans to navigate unforeseen circumstances.
  • Problem Solving - When faced with a problem, you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options find practical solutions.
