As a Logistics Control Tower Leader, you’ll manage transportation and related logistics of goods to internal and/or external customers/suppliers. You'll be responsible for Logistics Control Tower set up across Caspian Region (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia) for Oilfield Services
As a Logistics Control Tower Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and implementing of traffic under moderate supervision
- All logistics processes, Control Tower performance, logistics compliance and execution for Oilfield Services (OFSE) in the Caspian Region
- Managing transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.
- Planning, coordination and direction of logistics operations to ensures maximum throughput and quality
- Vendor Account reconciliation and monthly accruals
- Managing logistics costs to meet budgets and operations plans.
- Ensuring that Logistics; Trade Compliance policies, guidelines and strategic requirements are met
- Updating progress on key deliverables to the stakeholders, both vertically and horizontally
- Leading in resolution of logistical disputes and issues and identifies improvement opportunities
- Understanding broader concepts, development of approaches and methods, and knowledge management.
- Analyzing and recommending transportation and freight costs, appropriate routing, and carriers to be used
- Conducting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews with the Control Tower and leadership to review progress
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent
- Have 8 years of experience in Logistics
- Be able to communicate fluently in Azerbaijani, English and Russian
- Be proficient with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel and Word), SAP skills are preferable
- Have knowledge of international logistics (Import and export)
- Demonstrate ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously; effective problem identification and solution skills
- Have excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Have great presentation skills
