Minimum Educational Req: Four-year college degree in the area of Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Years of Experience: At least 8 years of sales experience and at least 5 years of sales management experience, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Role Purpose and Accountabilities
The National Inside Sales Manager is primarily responsible for managing a team of Inside Sales representatives for AHIT and CES with the goal of attaining and exceeding budgeted revenue targets. The person in this role will coordinate closely with Content, Marketing, and Client Services leadership to identify areas of customer need, assist in proper industry communication, and determine strategic initiatives that will allow the sales teams to exceed revenue targets.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and manage systems, processes, and tools to support the sales process to include lead generation, pipeline management, promotions.
- Work productively and positively with other Mbition departments about live class schedules and content, including product and compliance.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing to create brand awareness and address changing customer needs, by advising on advertisements and attending trade shows.
- Monitor the market and identifying new revenue streams and potential competitors.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Monitor sales calls and provide feedback to employees on client interactions, handling escalations as necessary.
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of sales professionals in achieving departmental goals and supporting organizational goals.
- Advise the Inside Sales team on leads and promotions.
- Manage the sales team’s activities utilizing an agreed upon set of key performance indicators, specifically enforcing strict adherence to established Salesforce metrics and practices.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
The Inside Sales Manager should have demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in sales and sales management. Strong verbal and written communication skills and planning and prioritizing skills are required in the role. Other requirements include:
- At least 8 years of sales experience and at least 5 years of sales management experience
- Experience using technology tools including SharePoint and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using technology tools such as Salesforce and Magento preferred.
- Occasional travel to trade shows
