WHAT YOU'LL DO
You are in the beginning of your career, either right at the end of finishing your bachelor’s thesis and will graduate soon or with 1-2 years of work experience from relevant field.
You have an interest in Finance, business analytics and commercial topics in general and also an interest within different Finance IT systems/software/digitalization etc. In your role you will work with the following tasks among others:
- Reporting, analytics, and data preparations, for the Nordic Finance Controlling team as well as for stakeholders from other departments. Both recurring and ad hoc.
- Supporting on processes relating to digital tools (building SAP financial reports, Alteryx-flows, Tableau visualizations, GenAI etc.) with the expectation of becoming a super-user / expert on selected systems / tools. A lot of extensive hands-on training will ensure you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your role.
- Responsible for the maintenance, updates, and overall management of digital tools to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Analytic support on internal projects mainly for the Nordic Business Controlling Team. Including topics such as: Improvement of current processes as well as developing new ones, various strategic support, digitalization efforts etc.
- Preparation of presentation-material to internal stakeholders.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
To excel in this role you should:
- Have very strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions and pay close attention to details.
- Be flexible and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced organization.
- Demonstrate strong capability in owning projects from inception to completion. You should be comfortable taking initiative, managing all stages of the project lifecycle, and delivering results with the appropriate support from others. Also ensuring project goals are met on time.
- Interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders and have the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Be comfortable managing relationships and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Be able to drive tasks to conclusion, have a strong intellectual curiosity, be eager to learn more and be a creative thinker who is interested in the bigger picture.
- Further you are service-minded humble and self-motivated.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Desired skills and qualifications are the following but not limited to:
- Academic degree at least equivalent to bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
- Some experience of working within financial reporting / analysis activities
- Computer skills: MS Office Excel and PowerPoint and great desire to constantly develop and learn new software.
- Systems experience preferred: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Alteryx, Tableau, GenAI, SQL
- Excellent English skills both oral and written.
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work primarily with the Nordic Finance Controlling Team with primary focus on reporting, analysis and business development / internal strategic topics, for the four Nordic countries; Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. You will also be working closely with our Nordic Finance Analytics team to leverage knowledge and support in technical tools. The role is based in Stockholm, and you will be reporting to the Nordic Business Controlling Manager.
The Finance team is very collaborative and enjoys learning and mentoring each other. The goal is that you should constantly grow in your role, and your manager and the team will provide developmental guidance and support to ensure your success at BCG.
