Production Quality Engineer

The Production Quality Engineer spearheads the quality culture within the Large Motors & Generators factory in Jüri. This role involves ensuring product quality and enhancing production processes' quality performance within designated areas. Responsibilities include implementing quality control measures aligned with customer requirements and ABB standards.

Your responsibilities

• Handle quality issues systematically to maintain high ABB product standards and prevent disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
• Ensure effective use of control plans and PFMEAs to minimize risks in production and new product processes.
• Manage qualification processes to reduce risks and costs in new product introductions or improvement projects.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and develop improvement plans based on findings.
• Assess quality control efficiency and establish appropriate inspection plans.
• Collaborate across functions to enhance quality systems and procedures.

Your background

• Higher education in engineering.
• Proper experience in quality assurance and quality control processes and tools, preferably in metalworking companies.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and "will-do" attitude
• Good communication skills in English and Estonian. The Russian language is an advantage.
