The Regional Sales Manager will represent Honeywell Enterprise Fire’s portfolio of products and solutions while managing all aspects of engagements with existing customers and prospecting for new customers. You will build relationships and understand your customers business to provide appropriate products and solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy with key customers while aligning with criti cal sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers utilizing your product knowledge and technical expertise to deliver the value proposition. We don’t just sell things. Job Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the territory developing and cultivating relationships with our ESD’s acting as the primary contact for the business.
- Consistently deliver against all revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute annual business plans for each ESD (Electronic Systems Distributor) with mutually agreed upon goals and actions, conduct quarterly business reviews, monitor and review monthly performance against plan/forecast and lead in-depth reviews to explore variances and needed corrective actions.
- Working with ESD key stakeholders to adopt our new products & breakthrough initiatives.
- Using market data and analytics, provide recommendations to leadership where opportunities exist to rationalize and / or add more ESD’s within the territory.
- Create, maintain, and develop relationships with engineers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s), and end users across the territory.
- Provide Customer inputs regarding market conditions, competitor strategies and industry trends that drive real-time feedback into the business and contributes to the product development process by articulating Voice of Customer and User.
- Work with Honeywell Marketing Team to develop sales kits, product collateral, and MDF campaigns.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to effectively self-manage activities. Responsible for building and managing an active pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Support the SIOP process to validate forecasted demand, product mix and delivery requirements are communicated and understood by Honeywell.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required, in line with company guidelines.
- Professionally represent Honeywell Fire at all applicable tradeshows, meetings, trainings, industry associations, public events, etc.
- Act as a liaison between the local National Account branches and our National Account Manager to ensure alignment and execution on Honeywell Fire’s growth objectives.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of related fire alarm/life safety industry experience
- Willing to travel 50% of the time
