We are expanding in Latam and we are opening a new position as Sales Engineer in Sao Paulo.
As a Sales Engineer, your mission will be:
- Seek out new opportunities in DC & AC traction power, existing and new customers in the railway business: transit, urban transport authorities (railways, metro, tramway etc.) in Latin America (except Brazil)
- Promotion, Bid Preparation, Tendering and Acquisition actions according to the strategy, budget, action plan and special instructions established by the Area Sales Manager and/or requested by Clients and Partners in Latin America
- Manage existing and develop new customer relationships to maintain and grow business.
- In charge of developing technical & commercial offers including the Cost and Price calculation till contract signature, following the internal procedures.
- Meet, and/or exceed annual budgeted sales goals.
- Responsible for having excellent product & system knowledge.
- Coordination with Sécheron HQ in Switzerland.
Requirements
For this position, you would ideally bring:
- Minimum of 5 years selling experience in rail, industrial BtoB environment with a focus on public tender.
- University degree in the field of Electromechanical background and/or Business school master’s degree.
- Spanish and English minimum B2.
- Ability to travel as necessary (more than 30%).
- Ability to manage simultaneously different projects and customers located in all of Latin America.
- Able to construct cost and price and technically understand the products.
