Informatica Developer

The Role: Design, develop and maintain Informatica workflows, mappings and transformations against myriad database technologies for data integration read and write patterns for both internal as well as customer-facing solutions. The individual will contribute as part of the Information Services team and work closely with IT architects, tech leads, business analysts and quality assurance specialists.

The Impact: This is a hybrid role in-that it supports both “grow-the-business” [Project] as well as “run-the-business” [BAU] initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in the following areas:
    • Informatica workflow, mapping and transformation development
    • SQL, PL/SQL
    • Relational and Non-relational data modeling
    • Distributed systems, ETL processes and data integration technologies
    • Experience with Snowflake is a plus
    • Experience with AWS is Plus.
    • Documentation of technical/procedural specifications
    • Tuning data integration patterns for performance
    • Knowledge in Perl/Python.
  • Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data management technology internals and features eg Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Autosys,AWS
  • Experience in analyzing user requirements and translating/implementing into Informatica code
  • Experience with on-prem- and cloud-deployment system integration patterns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills [English]
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with source code management practices and systems
  • Experience with Agile as well as Waterfall development methodologies
  • Experience with Informatica IDS, MDM or IDQ a plus
