We have an opportunity for an experienced Power &Control Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno, where you will be responsible for leading system level on R&D projects in an area of Power Electronics Hardware or Electro-Mechanical System Control Electronic Hardware, participation in the whole project life cycle from the transformation of CTQs into the technology requirements through the concept definition, preliminary & detailed design phase up to the technology demonstrators and prototypes productization, and V&V. You will also participate in technology reviews and providing support and expertise to business and potentially customers.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key responsibilities and skills
- Complex electronic and integration of electro-mechanical systems, embedded systems integration (electronic HW, mechanical HW, software, control), electric energy conversion (low / high power, low / high voltage, high efficiency)
- Design of power and propulsion electronics, Control Electronics for complex power systems
- Multidisciplinary embedded systems integration (electronic HW, mechanical HW, software, control)
- Communication and documentation skills – effective communication and documentation to create and pass concise and professional outputs
- Technical leadership – to effectively lead technology team up to 10 people
- Research & problem solving – to bring and identify new ideas, technologies and processes as well to solve/handle technology problems and challenges
- Project planning – to support project management team and provide time and resource estimations
Key skills and qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in electronic/automation or related field or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in related field (telecommunication engineering, power electronic design, automation, circuit design) - Good English & communication skills
- Experience in the development of aviation systems is a huge advantage
