SPS SST Sr Sales Representative

Purpose of the Job

To Sell Honeywell Analytics Portfolio of Portable Products & Services

Principal Responsibilities

  • Customer face to face promotion of Honeywell gasdetection products
  • Advise customers of most suitable product for their application
  • Identify opportunities for further sales and service revenues
  • Provide quotations to customers
  • Visit customer locations to engage in project meetings
  • Manage distribution network & arrange quarterly meetings
  • Daily use of CRM (SFDC) as the tool to organise calendar, generate and maintain pipeline
  • Provide feedback to zone manager on sales progress
  • Carry out product demonstrations at customer locations

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

  • Belgium + Luxemburg

Key Performance Measures

  • Annual Sales revenue Target

Education Required (academic and/or technical education)

  • Technical sales background
  • Preferred +3 years’ experience in selling in industrial background
  • Native Dutch + good knowledge of French and English

Work Experience Required (area and length of experience)

  • Experience of technical sales
  • Experience of working from home in a technical role
  • Previous experience of working with products relating to safety (bonus)
  • Awareness of the gas detection industry (bonus)
  • Experience of presenting to senior technical customers
  • Experience of high value negotiation

Behavioural Competencies Required (e.g. organisational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.)

  • Must have good time management skills
  • Must be a contributor and recognise the value of team work
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively across all functions and achieve company objectives
  • A strong sales "hunter" approach to quota achievement
