A Snapshot of Your Day

Some of the most common daily responsibilities in this role are lead, communicate, and coordinate entire sales team for Combined Cycle and Simple Cycle Power Plants. Determine the overall sales strategy for the projects and together with the proposal team resolve proposal strategy and prepare the quotation. In addition, maintain and develop relationships and interfaces between customers and internal Gas Services business units and product lines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Responsible for the overall sales process from first customer contact to contract signature and handover to project execution team.
  • Work together with Business Development personnel (account managers) within the region and Proposal Teams to lead existing or new opportunities.
  • Develop the bid strategy, jointly with Business Development and Proposal Teams, to provide the solutions the best meeting customer needs / specifications.
  • Market observation to recognize trends, leads, opportunities for the industrial power segment.
  • Lead continuous optimization and follow up on sales projects to ensure successful closure jointly with Multi-disciplinary Teams and ensure accurate internal reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate approval LOA process within the Gas Services (GS) organization.
  • Achievement of booking volume for new Combined Cycle and Simple Cycle Power Plants, or Gas Turbine or Steam Turbine packages while meeting business targets.
  • Assist in driving Sales growth strategies for GS clients.
  • Lead internal and external efforts with these clients to achieve desired objectives and results.
  • Deliver presentations of market & technology product detail, proposals and to clients.
  • Market observation to recognize trends, leads and opportunities.
  • Feedback on customer requirements, product improvements, market price levels & customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years Business Development/Sales/Proposal experience across AE, EPC or Power Generation industry.
  • Excellent Bilingual (Spanish/English) business communications skills oral, written and presentation.
  • Demonstrated and documented success with Business Development in power generation market.
  • Planning, guiding, and driving marketing and sales strategies.
  • Understanding of power plant and proposal development process.
  • Knowledge of Latin America’s power generation market, including current and coming policies driving new investments.
  • Strategic orientation with a detailed knowledge of partners, products, services and markets of power plant business.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to listen to clients, extrapolate relevant data, and generate winning strategies.
  • Demonstrated and documented success in effectively communicating and leading defined strategies internally across multiple business units and product lines.
  • Experience working with or leading cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationally.
  • Self-motivated with high energy drive and business sense.
  • Capable of multitasking, with excellent organization skills while assuring a high-quality work process.
  • Willingness and flexibility for domestic and international travel of 40-50%.

This Sales team has members distributed in different Latin America Countries with the purpose of providing close collaboration with our customers.
