We are seeking a Working Student to support our Industrial Goods Practice Area with a focus on the iron and steel industry.
You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.
Your areas of responsibility will include:
- Support the development of analytical tools for BCG’s steel team
- Create, enhance, and maintain databases for technical and financial benchmarking
- Develop and maintain analytical models and tools in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Explore ways to automate information research (e.g., through GenAI)
- Assist Knowledge and Consulting Teams in strategic research and analysis tasks

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies
- Interest in analyzing technical & competitive information along various dimensions
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Creative, yet structured problem solver and autonomous self-starter
