Data Analytics Analyst - São Paulo / SP
 

What this position is about - Purpose: 
 

The purpose of this position is to contribute to the governance, modeling and analysis of data in the Trade Marketing area, creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, as well as optimizing the ways in which the area's Divisions extract, compile and use data from different sources.
Your job involves identifying data requirements, creating database solutions, optimizing and overseeing database performance, ensuring data security, and providing support to users. The Data Analysis Analyst is also responsible for monitoring whether users are following good practices established in the area.
This position provides an opportunity to learn about different aspects of the business, defining and applying new analysis tools, solutions and processes, being required to propose strategic solutions for specific projects.
Who are we looking for – Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Certification in Power BI or related technologies is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, visualization, and reporting using Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Inglês: Advanced
• Advanced Excel (with VBA)
• Power Point
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculated measures and columns.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and design principles.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with data cleansing, transformation, and preparation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 
 

• Develop strategies for extracting, resolving and unifying information from diverse types and sources. Improve data grouping to include information that is relevant to the construction of systemic analysis. Process, processing and verification of data integrity used for analysis.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and present findings to relevant stakeholders. Interpret data and provide actionable recommendations to drive business growth, optimize processes, and improve performance.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data and deliver insights effectively.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by management to address specific business questions or concerns.
• Participate in specific business projects with strategic insertions, promoting discussions on data analysis, and acting as a consultant to the Trade Marketing areas, allowing those areas to build their own analysis structures.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by performing regular quality checks and data validation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.
