This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a large part in driving Hilton’s growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our ever-growing portfolio! As a Manager of Development Brazil, you will partner with owners and investors to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate in Brazil and allow them to use our global expertise to develop one of the leading brands in the hospitality industry. On the Caribbean & Latin America (CALA) Development team reporting to the Sr Director of Development for Brazil, you will focus on developing hotels within Brazil and will be tasked to expand Hilton’s presence in the Brazilian market.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Identifying and establishing potential relationships with new and existing key owners/investors, essential players in the Hotel and Real Estate Industry, and local decision-making authorities to generate business opportunities for further expansion of our brands.
- Evaluating business opportunities to ensure they meet our brand standards and align with our strategic property positioning.
- Negotiating and closing individual franchise and management agreements, ensuring adherence to our corporate processes.
- Collaborating with leadership to establish strategic directions for the area, directing efforts to maximize organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Actively participating in industry conferences and staying updated on the latest market trends, risks, and opportunities through market research and industry publications.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Championing each development opportunity from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless handover of the project to Technical Services and Operations.
- Leveraging our Business Intelligence tools and teams to conduct thorough market research and identify potential opportunities or restrictions for development.
- Engaging with Legal, Feasibility, Brand, Owner Relations, and other departments to improve and streamline the development process.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Leading RFP responses and brand presentations/pitches to prospective owners.
- Preparing letters of intent that outline commercial terms for franchise and management agreements.
- Drafting and reviewing Investment Committee Memos and Development Authority documents for projects, facilitating committee approval.
- Maintaining meticulous records, including a deal tracker, follow-ups, market visits, competitive analyses, and more
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience within Hotel Real Estate, Feasibility Analysis, or Commercial Real Estate Development
- Knowledge of management and franchise license structures.
- Can fluently speak and write in English and Portuguese
- Travel as required (approximately 80% of the time)
It would be useful if you have:
- Knowledge of Hotel branded landscape in the Latin American region
- Knowledge of Hotel financing landscape in Brazil.
- Fluent in Spanish (speak and write), is a plus
- Proficiency with presentation software and graphic design tools, enabling the creation of compelling brand presentations and materials.
