What are we looking for?
We are looking for an Energy Resource manage r for Asset Management. Technical Specialist in the resources engineering area for Asset Operations department, leading the Energy Yield Assessment for operational projects to review PV power plant performance and ensuring production assessment detailed evaluation and reporting.
What challenges will you face?
- Detailed assessment of operational PV plants performance and operational data.
- Elaboration of Energy Yield Assessment based on operational data for long-term energy estimates.
- Management of technical information and data.
- Managing teams of specialists in energy assessments.
- Conduct an Energy Yield Assessment for all projects, which will serve as a basis for energy predictions in the short and long term and for updating the company's financial models at the regional level.
- Design efficient and optimized photovoltaic strings and electrical blocks, as well as the integration of all the main equipment in the PV power plant. Modules, Inverters and Trackers.
- To correctly model the principal equipment, such as modules, inverters, and trackers, and the parameters that affect production in specific energy production software, such as PVsyst.
- Analysis and revision of Yields in all stages of the Project. Yields are prepared by external developers and technical advisors during project operations.
- Participating in the design of projects with high yields, according to the research of the latest market technologies, and the constant search for innovation and development of these.
- Establish transversal technical design criteria in the region based on knowledge of network codes and international technical regulations.
- Transfer lessons learned from projects to promote continuous improvement.
- Manage the technical documentation of the Energy Yield Assessment for all projects, ensuring up-to-date and available information on modifications or complementary projects
What specific knowledge do you need?
- At least eight years in a similar role. Experience in projects, desirable photovoltaic.
- Multidisciplinary engineer with electrical, mechanical, and civil skills.
- Advanced English. Advanced Portuguese. Advanced Spanish
