Environmental, Health & Safety Manager  

Permanent and Full-Time  

Location – Nangor Road, Dublin 

Based – On site five days a week  

Salary – Circa €80-85,000

We have an exciting opportunity for anEnvironmental,Health &Safety (EH&S) professional to join our team at the historic and world-famous Baileys site on Nagor Road. As the world's number one selling liqueur brand, the importance of the work we do here is hard to understate. Our indulgent blend of aged Irish whiskey and luscious dairy cream, with hints of cocoa and vanilla, is loved the world over and sold in over a hundred and sixty countries. Our dedicated, experienced and skilled team produces and bottles8.9 millioncaseseach year.

About the Role 

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced EH&SManager to come and craft the future at our Baileys production site. The purpose of the role is to protect people, brands, and reputation and to play a leading role in Nangor Road’s contribution to the delivery of Diageo’s Society 2030 ambitions - including supporting the global sustainability and environmental agenda among other vital goals. 

Some of theKey Accountabilities are:  

• Strategy – Crafting and implementing a site wide plan for the EH&S vision   

• Compliance –Good working knowledge ofISO accreditations (ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO 50001), IPPC License & other relevant EH&S legislation  

• Culture –Instilling an intrinsic link between EH&S and the day-to-day activities across the site and team  

• People Management –Directly mentor the EH&S coordinator, and by influencing effectively, work through others  

• Collaboration –Engagement with the Diageo Global EH&S community, sharing learning and best practice – staying ahead of the curve  

About You 

To be successful in this role you will have significant operational Environmental, Health & Safety leadership experience and a track record in a world-class FMCG production/manufacturing environment. 

• EH&S experience within a process manufacturing environment  

• Happy to flex between independent reliance and wider team working  

• Strong influencer – able to work through others not within your direct report group   

• Data driven decision making  

• Strong interpersonal communicator, across internal and external stakeholder groups
