Lead all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our [specific organization, e.g., Industrial Automation, Building Technologies, Aerospace, etc.] organization. You will build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategies toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers. Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify Opportunities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new sales opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to discover potential areas for growth.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
  • Manage and Plan Accounts:
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key customers.
    • Monitor account performance and make adjustments to strategies as necessary.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Negotiate and Close:
    • Lead negotiations with customers to finalize sales agreements and contracts.
    • Ensure that terms and conditions of sales contracts meet company policies and customer requirements.
    • Close deals effectively to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Articulate and Deliver Value Proposition:
    • Clearly communicate the value and benefits of Honeywell products and solutions to customers.
    • Tailor presentations and proposals to address the specific needs and concerns of each customer.
    • Demonstrate the ROI and long-term value of solutions to build customer trust and commitment.
  • Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle:
    • Maintain continuous engagement with customers throughout the sales cycle.
    • Track progress of sales activities and keep customers informed at every stage.
    • Address any issues or obstacles promptly to keep the sales process on track.
  • Establish Rapport with Customers:
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and challenges.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and solutions to help them achieve their business 

    Key Experience & Capabilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus

     

    Technical Skillset for This Role:

    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
    • Strong understanding of the [specific organization, e.g., Industrial Automation, Building Technologies, Aerospace, etc.] industry and product knowledge
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills
    • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
    • Analytical skills to assess and identify market opportunities
