The Project Engineer is responsible for test and commissioning of SI, HVAC, BEMS, Security, Energy or Fire applications service projects using engineering tools.
Responsible for coordinating the input of various key internal and external stakeholders, they must have good communications skills.
The Project Engineer will typically own the coordination of the design and engineering submittal. This typically includes:
I/O data point List
Equipment Schedule & Schematics
Device / Wiring Layout Drawings
Functional Specifications
Method statements (Project Specific)
Installation
Commissioning
Demonstration / Acceptance
Training Handover Documentation
They will also convert the above functional specification document into an operational system then complete off site testing to confirm operational effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent polytechnic qualification and experience.
- Experienced for IBS & BEMS project management & engineering
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of networking, database technology and trends in IT would be highly advantageous
- 3-5 year experience in ELV or BAS industry
- Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology based projects
- Previous exposure to a site base, construction environment
