The ProjectControls Organization’s (PCO) primary function is to partner with theProject Management Business to ensure we protect and enhance the bottom line.The PCO Organization will ensure all projects follow standard methodology and aresetup correctly, reviewed and maintained to the Honeywell HBS standards in financialand project execution systems. PCO ensures dataintegrity by enforcing compliance to projectmanagement methodology, and project accounting requirements.The ProjectControl Officer/Lead will be responsible for complying to thesystems, tools, and processes for effective PCO function for theassigned geography and LOB. The Project Control Officer/Leadwill ensure program / project management processes are implementedeffectively. He/ She will ensure standardize project analysis toolsand reports are used for a portfolio of large, medium and small projects. Furtherthe Project Control Officer/Lead may be required to work with remote teams toensure effective outcome/results
Other expectations fromthis role:
· Deploystandard systems and processes for the project reviews and bring inconsistency to ensure common project control processes are followedfor all projects
· Leverageexisting tools and systems to optimize the Project Control Processes
Create and update project schedules/programmes in compliance with Global Project Management Office guidelines to allow for better planning and improved outcomes, whereby improving forecast fedility.
· Leadchange management efforts as and when required
· Partnerwith the General Managers, Project Management Leaders, project managers,project coordinators, project admins and other functions to protect and enhanceour bottom line [P&L]
· Deploystandard process and tools and measure effectiveness
· Establishregular project reviews as per guidelines, and make sure thatthe ERP and Project Execution systems are effectively usedand updated with the most current project status.
· Develop & deploy predictive analysis to provide maximum time to General Managers, Project Management Leaders and Project Managers to work mitigation strategies to avoid risk and maximize opportunities.
· Reporting& creating the potential EACs, Change Order opportunities and exceptions tothe business leaders and following up corrective actions
· Drivedeployment & compliance of MOS with the project managers, operationleaders, and business leaders consistently
· Reportingdeviations to the standard processes, evaluating change orders, andestimate at completion for all projects.
YOU MUST HAVE
· Commercial,Financial & Contractual know how
· StrongProject Management understanding, including but not limited to CostControls, POC, EAC, Budget, Forecasting, Contracts &Programming/Scheduling
· Finance OrProcess Background with Project Ops exposure shall be a plus
· Coachingabilities / & strong professional communication
· 5+years of experience. Leading teams or working with remote teams a plus
WE VALUE
· Bachelor’sDegree preferred
· Masters/Degreein Business, Science orEngineering, Finance or Accounting, Construction or ProjectManagement, or related field
· Abilityto write and speak in English
· Experienceas Business Analyst a plus
· Demonstrated leadershipexperience in coordinating and overseeing successfulprojects, conflict resolution.
· Abilityto consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity,balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
· Abilityto convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic andaudience
· Proficient MicrosoftOffice package skills e.g. Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
· Experiencein financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management
· Userexperience of SAP system
· ProjectManagement Certification a plus
· Understandingof relatable industries is advantageous
