We are looking for a Sales Engineer, Dynamic Positioning, ANCS to join our Dynamic Positioning (DP) team. This is a permanent opportunity, and its preferred location is Singapore, and other possible locations are Dubai, and Shanghai. The reporting line will be into the Senior Sales Manager (Global), situated in Asia.
About the position:
In this position, you will have the responsibility for
- Generate sales leads from customers in defined area.
- Have good understanding of business area and preferably well connected with relevant customers.
- Increase market share of both retrofit and newbuild portfolio.
- Update and follow up feedback from customers in defined area.
- Analyse customer inquiries to create quotes in consultation with Senior Sales Manager and project management/engineering/product management.
- Create offers and technical specifications.
- Actively collaborate with and provide consultation with internal and external stakeholders and customer groups.
- Ensure a smooth transfer of contracted opportunities into orders ensure quality of contracts and in line with established policies.
Requirements for the position:
- Several years of experience in a Sales Engineer/ sales manager role in the maritime industry.
- Candidates with background of Dynamic Positioning, and Engineering / Sales would be an advantage.
- Business Management / Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or equivalent relevant background.
- Network in the marine industry, good understanding of stakeholders in the sales process.
- Very good negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in multicultural and international working environment.
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
- Willingness to frequently travel domestic and international.
