The Payments and Scheme Clearing (PSC) team are a core part of the Worldpay acquiring product group providing support to business stakeholders and engineering platform colleagues to ensure Worldpay are a capable and competitive partner to our merchants worldwide. The PSC product team comprises UK based Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts supporting engineering scrum teams based in Europe.
What you will be doing
As part of an Agile Release Train you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all areas of clearing and settlement (product management, design, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing).
You will have particular emphasis on initial analysis of new product requirements from within Worldpay as well as impact assessment and analysis of card scheme mandates, interchange and fees.
You will work closely with stakeholders and product managers to ensure requirements are fully understood , agreed and documented.
What you bring:
Deep knowledge of card acquiring including Visa and Mastercard clearing specifications
Good understanding of the global card acquiring marketplace
Proven experience of working in an agile environment
Stakeholder management and people skills
Familiarity with interchange and scheme fees
ISO 8583 and other payment related formats
Added bonus if you have:
Experience of Amex, Diners, JCB, CUP and or alternate payment methods
SAFe agile experience
Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Rally
