About this opportunity The Sr Manager, Sales will build strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share by focusing high value activity and selling. He/she will manage a large sales area for Align Technology with multiple ASMs, territories and Territory Managers selling Orthodontic Products, responsible for managing the Align business within their defined geography, with their primary objective being to achieve Operational Plan, through 360 strategy’s implementation in line with company and country strategic objectives through the ongoing development of their team. In this role, you will... Lead the team to drive results according to Brazil Ortho Channel sales objectives- Invisalign and Itero Achievement of quarterly and annual area sales targets/Operational Plan Make sure that the Commercial strategy is well implemented across all region Management, direction, and motivation of Area Sales Managers and their teams, including: development of sales plans, targets, and strategies and the removal of obstacles to success Evaluation and coaching of Sales Managers – through observation during co-travel, frequent feedback and the analysis of data Evaluate customer, product and systems knowledge via in-field assessment Provide appropriate training and field coaching as required. Ensure that ASMs and their teams manage accounts in their assigned territory on a quarterly basis, with specific customer focused action plans, including sales force effectiveness view. Ensure management of incumbent territory base and customers Maintain a personal level of product knowledge and competence in Dental and/or Orthodontics medical equipment. Maintain a high personal level of wider industry and business knowledge Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals Management of deliverables and Key Performance Indicators Prepare Business and actions plans, ensuring the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned on an individual and team basis Adherence to agreed team KPIs, including but not limited to Practice Events, Educational Recruitment, Call Rate and Business Planning In coordination with the Sales Leadership Team, establishes both market and target customer strategies for the Company, including KOLs management. Map, define and implement best business practices across Brazil In this role, you'll need... Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in Sales Management across Brazil, preferrable with a diverse range of Regional Sales Management; At least 3 years of experience with Management of a group of Sales Managers, Leader of People Managers. Experience within Medical devices or Healthcare sales is desirable. Proven track record of on-target achievement as both a sales person and sales manager/group leader. Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English. Ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others. Skillful in presentation and negotiation, expert in objection handling. Previous experience in product launch, regional sales planning and forecasting. Experience in budget management with extensive knowledge of P&L process and impacts of sales decisions. Passionate about digital and technology adopter, ability to work cross-functionally with strong level of collaboration and teamwork. Education: Business Management Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, preferably with a Post-Graduation in Business, Marketing, Strategy or Management Portuguese and English required, Spanish is desirable.
