Establishand drive procurement of material and services in alignment with businessLeadership for Safety and Productivity Solution (SPS) and HoneywellBuilding Technology (HBT) business in China/APAC as per Annual OperatingPlan and Strategic Plan. In this role, you will be reporting to HoneywellCorporate Procurement/Mechanical Center of Excellence (COE) SPS/HBT focusedbusiness partner team. This position is responsible for thedevelopment and execution of corporate xSBG category and supplier strategiesinto SPS/HBT business in China/APAC that enables supplier rationalization,supply continuity risk mitigation, and migration of spend to preferredsuppliers while achieving lowest Total Cost for SPS/HBT,reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High GrowthRegion Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. Youwill lead supplier performance over $100M of Mechanical especially for Plastics,Casting and Machining commodities spend for SPS/HBT in China/APAC, buildingpartnership and will ensure compliance with company business policies andprocedures, export/import regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Mechanical category strategies leveraging best-in-class suppliers, processes and products to enable a competitive advantage to SPS/HBT business in China/APAC
Partner with COE category sourcing partners and SPS/HBT cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution for China/APAC
Consolidate fragmented SPS/HBT Mechanical spend in China/APAC, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution in order to bring greater value to Honeywell
Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity
Identify and select approved suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies
Engage in new product development to drive business award to preferred suppliers and support the launch schedule and target cost
Facilitate engagement across SPS/HBT business and functions to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned Mechanical commodity space
Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers to maximize benefit to Honeywell
Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply base
Support the refresh of Mechanical COEs and SPS/HBT sourcing AOPs and strategic plans
Drive world-class performance from supply base
Work with Category COE and SPS/HBT sourcing and procurement teams in China/APAC to achieve lowest total cost, continuous quality improvement, and on-time delivery
Work with global commodity leaders to assure a coordinated commodity strategy exists across the enterprise in China/APAC
Ensure global policy compliance
INCLUDES:
Leverage Mechanical spend (volume) across Honeywell SPS/HBT in China/APAC to drive year-over-year savings
Drive supplier rationalization to preferred / best-in-class suppliers, lead supplier business reviews and manage supplier relationship
Complete and manage supplier contracts and multi-year agreements
Optimize working capital for the organization
Secure supply by partnering with suppliers and SPS/HBT stakeholders to support demand and business growth
Improve overall operational service levels to the business
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business
At least 10 years of work experience in Strategic Sourcing and leading successful supplier negotiations
Experience in sourcing Mechanical commodities including Plastics, Casting & Machining, Metals, and Packaging

Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
