Distribution Manager - FIRE

Our sales methodology involves collaborating closely with the end customer to discern and prioritize their desired outcomes. We guide them in selecting and defining use cases aligned with those outcomes, ultimately crafting an integrated solution tailored to deliver those use cases. In many instances, collaboration with the customer's consultants and contractors is necessary for the design and implementation phases.
About Role
The Distribution Manager position within our Honeywell Building Automation business focuses on the Fire segment and will directly report to the General Manager - Pacific.
This sales-oriented role oversees the entire sales performance within the Fire Product Distribution channel partners and Systems Integrators. The target customer segment is typically reached through a Two-Step distribution channel involving Distributors and resellers. These entities sell to contractors with specialized knowledge in Electronic Security, IT, Electrical, Fire Detection, and Protection within the Fire products segment. The role involves collaborating with Distribution and Channel partners to target and cultivate relationships with larger or strategically significant regional and national customers for the Fire portfolio. Additionally, the Distribution Manager will work towards developing key vertical markets for Fire and PAVA Products and Services.
Key Responsibilities
· Engage with Consultants/End-users in key SMB vertical markets, analyze project funnels, and ensure conversion aligns with AOP targets.
· Collaborate with Distribution partners to formulate an SI engagement plan for Fire Products.
· Meet minimum call metrics and KPIs set by Sales Excellence.
· Develop Key accounts and target opposition customers in partnership with Distribution partners, fostering business partner and Systems Integrator relationships.
· Support Security and Fire System SI's through Sales support and Training Programs on Fire Products with Distribution partners.
· Work with Distribution partners to create clear product promotion plans in coordination with the Fire Distribution Leader - Pacific.
· Assist Distribution partners in providing timely and accurate quotations to customers when required, adhering to agreed-upon KPIs.
WE VALUE
· 5+ years of experience in Fire Product Sales
· Experience in Specifying/Demand Generation
· Must be a passionate, professional, motivated quick learner who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen, leadership, and strategic program execution skills, process driven with strong analytical mindset.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills as it relates to disseminating and gathering information to staff,
management andmarketing to prospective clients or business partners.
· Strong Presentational Skills
· Analytical problem-solving ability; rigorous and resourceful with a pragmatic approach.
· Flexibility in terms of dealing with changing priorities and dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills to dealwith customers and business partners
