Your new role Job Requirements: Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to establish and expand the 3PL local parcel delivery service in South America. Identify market opportunities, formulate growth strategies, and create competitive advantages in the region. Collaborate with senior management to set goals, budgets, and performance targets aligned with the company's overall objectives. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of parcels while maintaining superior service quality. Implement robust logistics processes, including order management, warehousing, inventory control, route optimization, and last-mile delivery. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse operational data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Build and lead a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and front-line staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members, promoting their growth and success. Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement, motivation, and retention. Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards in all operational activities. Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as security threats, transportation delays, and supply chain disruptions, through effective risk management strategies. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting systems to support audits and regulatory compliance. What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience 10+ years in logistics operations management, including significant exposure to 3PL, parcel delivery, or related industries. Strong knowledge of the South American market, including local regulations, cultural nuances, and logistics challenges. Demonstrated track record of successfully establishing and growing logistics operations in new markets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Chinese and English (additional languages are a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to station in South America for at least a year.
