Your new role

The Publicity Manager will be responsible for all Publicity activities supervised by the Marketing Director and maintain permanent communication with HO.

 Your role accountabilities

• Responsible for coordinating Press/Critics/Influencers Screenings and Event Premieres, planning and implementing press screenings according to publicity strategy.
• Developing and implementing publicity strategies for the company’s films, including a crisis management strategy.
• Managing press/influencers activities with local outlets, aiming to conquer more coverage for Warner Bros Discovery releases, contributing with the upper and immediate direction and press agency.
• Responsible for all publicity materials placement including publicity stills, special shoots, EPK, TV specials, online content, etc. in all media outlets: TV, cable, newspapers, magazines, radio, influencers, and online.
• Analyzing media coverage: monitor local, national, or international news coverage to determine the public's perception of their company or address claims made by media.
• Responsible for Warner Bros Home Office publicity opportunities (reports, information, set visits, junkets, long leads, phoners, and others) with result orientation and strategically prioritizing time and other resources.
• Place articles and special pieces tied in with media promotions. Approval/Editing of all press releases.
• Incentive, propose, and implement differentiated approaches for each movie release, gaining extra media coverage.
• Organizing and managing all details on a talent tour in Brazil.
• Attending screenings when that is an editorial partner involved.
• Managing relationships and opportunities for social influencers tied with activities for each release (including agreements).
• Managing WB presence on entertainment events such as CCXP, organizing local talent attendance, activations, etc.
• Working with the social media team to create a content calendar.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor´s degree in Journalism or Public Relations
• Excellent written and oral English.
• Experience managing Publicity Areas and negotiating permanently with HO and local press.

Other Nice to Have

Spanish is desirable.
