Purpose of the position

 

 

We are actively seeking a motivated individual who excels in a dynamic work setting to become part of our Sales & Marketing Department, taking on the role of Marketing Specialist.

This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote the company's products and services. The individual will collaborate with various teams, both internally and externally, in order to drive brand awareness, generate leads, engage the targeted audience.

The location for the position is Ellesmere or in close proximity and with hybrid workmode. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth
  • Plan, execute, and analyse multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional channels
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, blogs, social media, and promotional materials
  • Manage online presence and optimise digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, and social media advertising
  • Utilise analytics tools to measure and report on website and social media performance
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels
  • Implement lead generation strategies to acquire new customers
  • Manage and nurture leads through various stages of the sales funnel
  • Plan and coordinate marketing events, trade shows, and sponsorships to increase brand visibility and generate leads
  • Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Provide insights to inform product development and positioning
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets effectively
  • Track expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
     

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

Education:

 

  • Higher level qualification in Marketing and possesses practical marketing experience

 


Experience:

 

  • CRM tools - Salesforce preferred
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role
  • Machinery, Lorry loader, Crane, Automotive or similar background – preferred non essential

 


Competencies and Skill Set:

 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, Google Analytics, and social media management tools
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills     
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices
  • Possess excellent I.T. skills - including MS Office and the SAP ERP System
  • Be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders
  • Be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Be a good team player, flexible with regards to tasks performed.
