Unilever is currently hiring for a Procurement Sourcing Marketing Coordinator – Consumer Insights LATAM based in Brazil.

In this role, you will be part of the Marketing – Consumer Insights Team, which is responsible for Consumer and Market research data services. Managing agencies end-to-end, including contracting, annual negotiations, and strategic tool rollouts. In parallel you will act as first point of contact for queries in your area of responsibility.

What you can expect from the role?
- To contribute to the Consumer Insights portfolio sourcing strategy and be accountable for its implementation in the markets you are responsible for.
- To maintain in scope Marketing Portfolio management and sourcing activities on a day-to-day basis.
- To Identify and deliver value adding sourcing activities and deliver cash through payment term extensions that ensure we achieve our business and procurement targets. Implementation and tracking of savings and cash, reporting and improvement of other key performance indicators.
- To build and maintain relationships with key suppliers in the Consumer Insights portfolio. Undertaking end to end sourcing initiatives that will include Identification and initial assessments of suppliers, preparing and managing supplier selection process and working with legal to finalise commercial agreements.
- Be a strong business partner with all key stakeholders to maintain trust and add value to the business. Act as first point of contact for relevant agency procurement related questions. Ensure the satisfaction of stakeholders with the services provided within Assistant Sourcing Manager Marketing – Consumer Insights your portfolio while ensuring compliancy of business users to procurement policies and contracts.
- This role requires a creative, high-energy candidate who demonstrates strength in white space and is comfortable interfacing with and influencing stakeholders to land and implement the agreed sourcing strategy, delivering business growth and bottomline impact. Key deliverables include savings and cash delivery, ROI, demand management, and cost avoidance. To deliver, it is essential to quickly learn the respective businesses in coverage, establish credibility with stakeholders, and understand vendor/market capabilities to ensure Unilever is fully leveraging supplier partnerships.
- It will be critical for the successful candidate to understand and unlock the power of digital technology to identify, eliminate, and where possible, automate non-valueadded processes in both within Unilever procurement, and across the business more broadly. Therefore, an understanding of systems and processes and strong analytical acumen to drive insights and action from data around how we operate is essential.
Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Procurement experience
- Experience and knowledge of indirect procurement or marketing procurement
- Working with cross geographical teams and cross functional teams. And willingness to work in a virtual team.
- Leading multiple projects simultaneously and independently
- Unafraid to work with senior stakeholders and suppliers, supported through excellent communication skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint abilities.
- Knowledge of Purchasing and Contracting Tools i.e. Coupa, Docusign.
