Program Manager / Customer Success Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking a B2G Program Manager / CSMin Sao Paulo to work with the coordination of major education projects with a particular focus in the public sector and education institutions , as part of the Brazil B2G Team , helping some of our major clients to advance their strategic learning objectives by improving their students’ intercultural communication and language skills.

As a successful Program Manager, you will be a highly organized, tech-savvy and customer-driven client manager, who can uncover the stories behind the data and deliver excellence in the form of language training programs for thousands of public-school students and teachers . In the process, you will help our clients unlock the benefits of having English language fluency as a strategic asset for their global success.

In this role, your day-to-day work will vary tremendously – enabling you to serve as a consultant, project manager, change-maker, data analyst, internal and external implementation specialist, among other capacities. More broadly, you will play a vital role in our wider organization and in your local team, as you will be responsible for the delivery and success of our projects in your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities
  • Become quickly recognised by your customers as a trusted advisor and consultant who can help them reach their educational development goals through strategic investments in English language learning programmes, achieving clear KPIs, such as measurable learning progress, client satisfaction (Net Promoter Score), student engagement, and renewal rates.
  • Be the main point of contact and go-to-person to support our government clients in solving their needs with creativity, attention to detail and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Be recognised and celebrated by our global organisation for delivering your commitments and exceeding expectations in terms of client service.
  • Write and deliver compelling pitch presentations, requiring a thorough knowledge of the market and how our services stand out from competitors .
The skills & experience we look for

We are looking for a tech-savvy person with successful education (public and/or private sectors) client-facing project management experience, solid communication skills, who speaks Portuguese and English with professional fluency (fluency in Spanish will be a plus) and who is able to analyze data and derive actionable insights for clients in addition to handling / learning different software skills with ease. If you have experience working with education products and/or government stakeholders, all the better. But most importantly, we are seeking an incredibly organized project manager who wants to build a career at a rapidly growing and extremely innovative education and travel company.

More specifically, you should be able to:

  • Set up and implement client learning programs that involve thousands of learners, building and maintaining client loyalty, satisfaction and success.
  • Work closely with current or potential clients to define clear KPIs, success criteria, and deliverables, identifying actions for continuous improvement in their learning outcomes.
  • Report to clients on the success of learning programs in order to drive results, achieve renewals and assist in growing the accounts, regularly monitoring learning KPIs and account plans to ensure timely renewals.
  • Foresee and react to problems rapidly with creative solutions.
  • Contribute to best practices for all other team members to ensure successful design and delivery of language training.
  • Provide project management skills and advice to Sales teams during tenders and negotiations.
  • Be available to travel about 30-50% of the time to visit clients in loco.
Ideal Background:
  • Experience working in k-12 education, particularly in the public sector, is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Fluent English and Advanced Spanish.
  • Strong relational skills, influencing skills and presence.
  • Strong project management
  • A Bachelor or master’s degree in education, public policy / management, international relations, economics, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and/or ease of learning different Software tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Data Studio, etc) is a plus.
