The Director, Marketing is a dynamic thought leader energized by ambitious, creative ideas and storytelling. In this role, you’ll drive the ideation of high-profile innovative, and culturally impactful marketing campaigns that are effective and align with company and market goals. This Director role will manage a Marketing team elaborating country-specific strategies and is an experienced professional, inspiring, and creative leader who can bring sharp, sophisticated thinking to the team while elevating excellence both internally (strategies, presentations, cross-functional collaboration) and externally (campaigns, creative assets, trade marketing plans).
Yourroleaccountabilities
• Ensure alignment and collaboration among all business and functional areas at the local level to develop marketing initiatives effectively.
• Oversee the local strategy and execution of all growth marketing campaigns for Linear and Streaming Services aligned with the regional Brand, Content Marketing, Growth, and Commercial teams.
• Execute communication, promotional discounts, sales incentives, and training initiatives in collaboration with partners, aligned with GTM objectives. Collaborate with communications and partners to maximize business opportunities, partner support, and media value. Focus on achieving Marketing Power in alignment with Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
• Analyze key performance metrics including Total Reach, Country Unaided Awareness, Authentication Rates, and Retail & Wholesale metrics (Paying Adds/Balance, Churn, ARPU, SAC, ROI). Evaluate results against targets and develop action plans to close potential gaps.
• Develop strategies and execute Local Original Programming (LOP) campaigns in alignment with Regional BM strategies.
• Manage the local marketing budget efficiently, ensuring ROI generation. Take responsibility for local execution and control, in alignment with Media & Brand Marketing objectives.
• Execute local activations when necessary, ensuring alignment with company goals and Brand Marketing strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies (media & below-the-line production) at the local level. Ensure alignment with Media and Creative Services (CS) teams.
Qualifications&Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Solid experience in marketing, preferably in the entertainment or media industry; with management experience leading teams in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
• S trong experience leading memorable Marketing campaigns: from strategy to implementation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
• Experience in budget management and ROI analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Vast experience with media planning and execution processes.
