WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Legal Strategy Manager is critical in driving key operational activities and innovation within our Global Legal Team, particularly within the Commercial center of expertise (“COE”). In close collaboration with COE and Legal Team leadership, the Legal Strategy Manager will help drive cross-functional collaboration, manage strategic projects and initiatives, and support key processes within the team.
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Deepening relationships with key stakeholder groups and identifying areas where the team may have a Seat at the Table
- Driving branding and engagement efforts both internally at BCG as well as externally
- Supporting the development of the COE’s Target Operating Model and setting team meeting agenda topics
- Preparing presentation materials for key meetings and trainings
- Assisting with onboarding, learning and development, and integration programs for your COEs
- Coordinating the storage and cataloguing of our work across topic areas, supporting the team’s digital agenda

- Working within culturally diverse teams and building relationships across stakeholder groups to drive to consensus and alignment
- Strategic thinking and pragmatic solutioning, with a particular focus on change management and process mapping
- Communication in all forms, including story boarding and slide writing, with strong PowerPoint capabilities
- Organizing and prioritizing work across a broad range of topics, working effectively with ambiguity and competing priorities and constraints
- Taking initiative and working independently with little oversight, while bolstering a collaborative team culture
- Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; MBA or other relevant secondary degree a plus
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environment; less experience considered for exceptional performers or BCG consulting team experience
- Proven ability to work effectively on a distributed team delivering on high priority initiatives
- Experience working with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Strong command of Windows Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and robust slide-writing experience
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; additional languages a plus
- Flexibility to support a global team, occasionally working outside traditional work hours

BCG’s Legal Team, particularly the Commercial center of expertise, as well as international stakeholders across a variety of cohorts and functions. You will report into the Strategy and Operations group within the Legal Team.
