Customer Project Execution Department in LATAM is responsible for executing and delivering Wind Farm projects to our customers. Always facing exciting and challenging scenarios, Performance & Analytics is a key partner to Project Management, providing insights and supporting the region in the profitable execution of onshore and offshore Projects.
A responsible for:
1) Support execution of construction projects, ensuring that the data reflects the reality of the projects and is available for decision making
2) Create visibility on performance of the projects related to P&L and Cash, R&O
3) Identify and drive projects to improve our performance in coordination with other areas, including lessons learnt process
4) Create visibility on performance of our region on a portfolio level and be able to explain changes vs previous periods, budget, and targets
- Lead the monthly forecast process in collaboration with different stakeholders, delivering accurate forecasts of P&L and cash flow
- Analyse deviations and changes of the month on a regular basis and coordinate presentations and internal reporting
- Develop dashboards to provide timely insights on key financial and operational metrics and create awareness of the P&L and Cash impacts for the operational teams
- Provide visibility of cost impacts and guide operational team to improve profitability
- Identify recurrent deviations and give regular feedback to bid for future projects accuracy
- Support PMs on cost estimation and to understand consequences and opportunities of the contractual clauses
- Guarantee the quality and assessment of the risk&opps and lessons learned data
- Support project billing plans creation and controls, in coordination with PMs
- Review precalcs before projects are firmed and lead sales hand-over in collaboration with PMs
- Lead process of monthly project follow-up (incl. root cause) and identify areas of improvement of the process
- Perform root causes analysis on largest deviations and lead implementation of actions to address root causes
- Identify trends across projects and define areas of improvement
- Define, improve, and standardize processes
- Define team goals and vision and drive their development through close communication and development plans
- Lead the budget process and guarantee that system reflects an accurate view of our region for future years
- Ensure data quality of our systems
- Validate and implement variation orders
Qualifications
- Financial background
- Experience in construction is a plus
- High level on Excel and Power Point
- People manager previous experience
- Work experience in energy sector is a plus
Competencies
- Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus
- Strong stakeholders management skills
- Proactive and independent person who can focus on the delivery of the different tasks
- Highly structured and well organized, able to multitask and prioritize daily work under a fast paced and highly dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills with emphasis in problem solving
